Our new induction welder dedicated specifically to the mesh belt sector has come into operation.
The new unit was developed following product demand increase and it was engineered by the R & D office of Polinamic with specific solutions to improve our production capacity and the quality of our mesh belts.
Mesh belts today account for about 30% of our revenue.
With the new production unit, in five years we have introduced four induction welding stations.
Technological growth is important to us. In fact we have been reinvesting our profits since 2010 for the continuous updating of production machines. The average reinvestment in research and development for the past 7 years was 9.5% of revenue.
